I met my sister after work at Momoya, a local sushi joint on Amsterdam. This Upper West Side restaurant has great outdoor seating and extremely reasonably priced food, perfect for our evening’s needs.
We ordered a bottle of cold saki to start, priced conveniently at $22. We toasted to a great evening, and glanced over the menu. It took us a bit t order after a deep political conversation (for real) but eventually decided our plan of action.

We decided to start the meal off with the Edamame Ricotta Ravioli, a unique dish to say the least.

On a lazy Saturday night, I headed crosstown to meet my friend Alex for dinner. We were supposed to go out to celebrate her new job as the event coordinator for NBC Olympics (amazing.. I know). But after a long day of touring at 30 Rock, the thought of getting out of PJ’s was daunting to her. So I went over, bottle of Pinot Grigio in hand, and we ordered in sushi from our favorite place, Haru. Alex introduced me to Haru a few months ago when she had taken me out to celebrate my first assignment and I have been addicted ever since.

Thanks to Seamless Web our lazy evenings do not have to be full of overly greasy Chinese food. We started off our meal right with one of the most addicting dishes known to man, Rock Shrimp Tempura.
